Haruka Legal Support (遥か行政書士事務所, "we") handles the personal information you share with us in accordance with Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information and the duty of confidentiality under the Gyoseishoshi Lawyer Act. If there is any difference between this English version and the Japanese version, the Japanese version prevails.

Your name, email address, phone number and LINE / WhatsApp name
Details of your inquiry and the information needed for the procedure (nationality, status of residence, employer, family relationships, family register, assets, etc.)
Copies of documents you give us for the procedure

3. How we use it

To answer your inquiry
To prepare documents and file applications with government offices on your behalf
For quotes, invoices and communication
For identity checks and record keeping required by law

We will ask for your consent before using your information for any other purpose.

4. Sharing with third parties

We do not share your information without your consent, except:

When we submit documents to the Immigration Services Agency, Legal Affairs Bureau, police, banks or other offices for the procedure you asked us to handle
When disclosure is required by law
When it is necessary to protect someone's life, body or property and your consent is difficult to obtain

5. Outside services

We use LINE, WhatsApp and Google Forms for inquiries. Information sent through them is also stored by those companies under their own privacy policies.
We may use translation services when communicating in other languages. We try not to enter information that identifies you, such as your name or address.
This site uses Google Maps to show our location.

6. Security

Gyoseishoshi lawyers are bound by law to keep client information confidential. We keep your information out of reach of unrelated people, store it for the period required by law after the work ends, and then dispose of it properly.

7. Your requests

You may ask us to disclose, correct, stop using or delete the information we hold about you. We will respond in accordance with the law after confirming your identity.
